This is going to be a great opportunity for people all over the world to listen to IceMen games. The parents of the players on this team, as well as the other teams, will be able to tune in online and listen to the games."
This is a great thing for us", IceMen General Manager Chip Rossetti said. "We wanted to have another way for fans to listen to the home games if they can't make it out to the arena. Andy is a great guy and he is going to do a fantastic job for us."
The games will be called by Derick Benigni and Brian Vaal. Benigni will be doing the play-by-play and Vaal will be doing the color commentary.
WYIR will also be traveling to with the IceMen to Dayton, Ohio on October 14th for the teams exhibition game against the Dayton Gems of the International Hockey League.
All AAHL games will be broadcast by the teams local stations and will simulcast on the internet, so fans won't have to miss a minute of exciting Evansville IceMen hockey when the team in home, or on the road.
