Ryan Sexsmith, defense, began the season with the Chi-Town Shooters and recorded 4 points (1G, 3A) in 7 games. He finished the season with the IceMen recording 16 points (6G, 10A) in 33 games during the regular season and 0 points in 2 playoff games. Tim Recio, defense, had 11 points (1G, 10A) during the regular season with the IceMen and did not have a point in 2 playoff games. Matt Wagner, goaltender, played 984 minutes during the regular season, recording a GAA of 5.37 and a 0.899 save percentage in 20 games played. During post season action, Wagner played 118 minutes with a GAA of 2.55 and a 0.930 save percentage. Ryan Ford, forward, recorded 53 points (19G, 34A) in 37 games played during the regular season and had 0 points in 2 playoff games. Michael Uvodich, forward, recorded 36 points (23G, 13A) in 36 games played during the regular season, he had 1 point (assist) in 2 playoff games. Aaron Naphan, forward, began the season with the Battle Creek Revolution and recorded 5 points (0G, 5A) in 9 games played. Upon arriving in Evansville, Naphan recorded 22 points (12G, 10A) in 29 regular season games. He did not have a point in either playoff game.

I'm saying all he has to do is show up to camp or whatever and say he wants to play. there is no scince on wasting a spot on some one who you know is going to be back you would offer the guy you want and everybody else might want a qualifying offer to keep them here I don't see coy playing for anyone else.

As 24beanpot explained in another thread (which I've deleted in order to filter all of the roster talk here), a qualifying offer basically just gives the team first dibs on the player within the same league. He can still be released before or during training camp, and he can still sign with a team in a different league if an offer is made. So the players aren't really doing anything to harm their chances of moving up to the next level; they're simply giving themselves a "home" in the AAHL if they do end up back in this league. As for Coy, I would also like to see him back, and I'm 99% sure that he'll be with the IceMen if he does play in 2009-10. However, I'm not entirely sure that he'll play again. But if he does, it should be here, and I'm sure the IceMen organization would welcome him back. I really like the 6 guys we are bringing back though. Three solid forwards, two solid blueliners and a Grade-A netminder. I'm really glad to see Recio on the list - he's one of those guys who does everything right but doesn't necessarily show up on the scoresheet a lot, so it's good to see that his value has been recognized. If you take a look at the players the other teams are bringing back, I'd put our boys up against theirs any day of the week... Here are the scheduled dates so far: IceMen: August 1-2 Shooters: June 27-28 Revolution: No dates announced yet Blaze: June 8-9, July 1-2, July 17, August 27-28 There will also be a league-wide Free Agent Tryout and Draft on September 12-13 in Chicago. Training camps are slated for October. I'd like to see the IceMen add another tryout earlier in the summer. I don't like the sounds of everybody else getting a jump on us...

Plus my daughter thinks there really cute lol. Can't wait for next year, I really enjoy bringing my family to watch the games and have some fun with friends. Good luck to them next year.
