It's true, it's true. (TM Kurt Angle.)
IceMenManiacs.com, in conjunction with 96.9 WYIR, is now offering IceMen fans a FREE weekly podcast about the IceMen. Each week, I'll join our old buddy Derick Benigni for a 20-30 minute segment during WYIR's new "Amusement Park" program, which airs at Noon (and goes until 2 or 2:30) each Wednesday. My segment will typically air at about 1 PM, and thanks to Derick and the fine folks at The Wire, it'll subsequently be made available for free download as an MP3 podcast on IceMenManiacs.com.
For all the details and a link for downloading the premiere, click here.
In this week’s debut edition, Derick and I discuss the IceMen home opener and affiliations, offer up predictions for the season as a whole, speculate on replacing Brian Bicek, and look forward to the upcoming weekend’s games. Plus, we unveil the first edition of a little feature called “Shocker’s Hockey Rock Song of the Week.” Altogether, the episode clocks in at just over a half-hour long. (Please note that the audio is a bit funky this week, but that'll just be a one-week problem because we've figured out how to get that fixed.)
Please give it a listen and let us know what you think!
