The Northwest Indiana Times has coverage of Sunday's game in Dyer here. It's basically a box score in story format. Zach Kane and Justin Barr scored in the 1st to make it 2-0 Chi-Town. Riley scored in the 2nd to make it 2-1, but Jason Dolgy scored on a breakaway late in the 2nd to make it 3-1 Shooters. Scampoli scored 21 seconds later to make it 3-2, but Chi-Town answered again with a power-play goal by Warren Galloway - so it was 4-2 Shooters after 2. Koich and Vasquez both scored in the first 8 minutes of the 3rd to tie it at 4-4. We had a power play late in regulation, but couldn't convert. Espo then scored 2:51 into OT for the win.

Backtracking to Saturday...what a game. I still think last year's 2-1 OT win over BC stands up as the best pure hockey game we've seen, but Saturday was probably the most entertaining. We scored 9 goals against our biggest rival, there were 3 fights (including 2 featuring the most-hated man in Evansville), 2 fans got hitched on the ice, and the crowd was crazy-hot all night. What more could you want for 7 bucks?
