This isn't an "official" fan gathering, but I wanted to pass this along anyway. Raben Tire on Fares Avenue (a few blocks north of Columbia) has a TON of free tickets to the Otters game this Sunday (7/25). First pitch is 6:35. No purchase necessary at Raben..just walk in, ask for the tickets, and walk out. I was in there getting my brakes fixed yesterday, and they have probably 500 tickets just sitting around waiting to be taken.

Also don't forget, the following Saturday (7/31) is the next "Cool Summer" event - Camel & Ostrich Day at Ellis Park. Free general admission, and the horses will be racing as usual too. It's a really unique experience. Last year, Calvin Borel (the Kentucky Derby winning jockey) actually rode in both the camel and ostrich races, and another jockey nearly fell off of one of the ostriches and was dangling upside-down by his foot as the bird crossed the finish line. You truly have to see it to believe it. Good times.
